Microsoft will stop supporting the ten (10 ) -year-old Windows 7 operating system with security updates on 14 January 2020.
Microsoft recently announced that it will officially begin the Windows 7 end of life phase on Jan. 14, 2020. On that day, the company will stop supporting Windows 7 on laptops and desktops, and will no longer patch it with security updates.
Windows 7 operating system end of life is only a few months away, meaning Microsoft fans don’t have long until they’re forced to make the jump to Windows 10.
Microsoft has make it known, it will start to notify Windows 7 Pro users that support for the 2009 operating system will stop on January 14, 2020.
Microsoft has said the notifications being delivered to Windows 7 users are designed to provide time to make the transition to its current operating system as smooth as possible.
